The Incredible Hulk did much better than expected at the box office over the weekend, brining in a killer $55 million. This shows that a whole lot more people were interested in the film than was previously thought, but it also might be a drafting off of the huge success of Iron Man, which Marvel tried to play up by putting Tony Stark's cameo in the trailer.
No matter, this bodes extremely well for the future of Marvel movies, as there is clearly an interest building in the whole of the canon, not just one franchise. What this means is that the eventual Avengers film is going to bring in about a kazillion dollars.
