Avenged Sevenfold, Offspring Come To 'Rock Band'

Rock Band rockers are in for a treat next week: Avenged Sevenfold, Offspring and Crooked X tracks are coming!

Offspring are debuting their newest single--"Hammerhead"-- on MTV's music game where Avenged Sevenfold's two tracks are from their newest, self-titled, album, and you might not have heard of Crooked X, but  that's because they're new: The average age of the band is 13 years old. Their track only costs $.99.

Here's the full track list:

  • “Afterlife” (Avenged Sevenfold)
  • “Critical Acclaim” (Avenged Sevenfold)
  • “Hammerhead” (The Offspring)
  • "Rock ‘n’ Roll Dream” (Crooked X)

Release date: Tuesday, June 17, 2008 (Xbox LIVE ) Thursday, June 19, 2008 (PlayStation Network)

Price: $1.99 (160 Microsoft Points for Xbox 360) per track for the Avenged Sevenfold and Offspring songs. Crooked X’s “Rock ‘n’ Roll Dream” will be $0.99 (80 Microsoft Points for Xbox 360)

Super sweet how 360 gets things 2 days quicker than PS3...shows how much more dominate we are in general

it just seems like now bands are saying to them selves "so our song can be in this video game and we get a bunch of money??? where do we sign"

That's sick. I've been a A7X fan since they came out. And loved how they evolved (yes evolved, M.Shadows' surgery had nothing to do with it).

Avenged Sevenfold blows dogs for quarters. They have a good guitarist but he is f#%kin douche bag.
