The latest issue of GamePro magazine has some details on upcoming real-time strategy title Halo Wars. According to the magazine:
- Two-player online cooperative play for Halo Wars' story-driven campaign mode has been confirmed.
- It's expected to support six players in multiplayer matchups over Xbox Live.
- Only one "resource" must be collected, as opposed to many RTS games. This is meant to streamline the collecting phase of the game so players can focus on the combat.
"The economy is simple but meaningful," Ensemble designer Dav Pottinger told GamePro. "All the big strategy decisions remain, but the game style is more adrenaline-filled."
Halo Wars is expected to come out later this year for the 360 only.
