Funcom sent out a press release announcing that Age of Conan has shipped a million copies in the first 3 weeks in the market, making it the most successful PC game in the western world, including the US, UK, Germany, and France. With critical acclaim, huge sales numbers, and a very large install base for a new MMO, it's no wonder they're so proud.
In the US, Age of Conan is still topping the PC games sales charts, with 500,000 units shipped. Internationally, interest in the game is still growing, with eight million unique visitors from over 200 different countries logging on to the Age of Conan website. Check out The MMO Report's Age of Conan Special to get some inside info on the game's launch, development process, and what they're planning for the immediate future. We played through the beta for about a month, but haven't picked it up since the launch. What do you guys think so far?
