If you're Seth Rogen, it's a pretty great time to be alive. You get to knock up Katherine Heigl, smoke pot on the MTV Movie Awards, and now you get to portray one of the great superheroes of all time. Yes, Rogen will play the titular character in The Green Hornet in a script written by him and partner Evan Goldberg (Superbad). The project has a green light to go, and will be released in June, 2010.
We're not sure how well Rogen will hold up as a superhero, especially one that's supposed to be as dashing and debonair as playboy Britt Reid, the alter ego of the Hornet, but it's certainly intriguing. Of course, right now Rogen could pitch a script in which he plays a pile of crap and get it greenlit. He's just that hot.
