Tim Burton has been rumored of late to be the director of a film version of Dark Shadows, the 60's British Goth soap opera that featured vampires in its canon. Adding credence to this theory is the fact that the property has been optioned by Johnny Depp's production company, Infinitum-Nihil, who has been developing the script with Warner Bros.
Depp will presumably play Barnabas Collins, the head of the vampires, in the remake. This should be right up Burton's alley. Now, it remains to be seen if we will get classic Tim Burton, who returned to form with Sweeney Todd, or the one who's been directing bad films for the better part of the past decade.

Johnny Depp is perfect for this. I hope they find a decent actress for Victoria Winters. Joanna Going was smokin hot. Actually, she still is. Maybe they will get her. :-)
Tim Burton is one of the best directors of the last 25 years. Almost all of his movies are great, and nobody makes movies like he does. Go watch your Uwell Bolle movies you asswhipe.
