Apparently, Capcom was at least considering Sixaxis aiming for Resident Evil 5, but feels the motion controls aren't as sensitive as they'd like.
Jun Takeuchi, producer, said that the Sixaxis "was not quite sensitive enough" for aiming.
Things are proceeding smoothly, however, on the PS3 version. Jun said, "We're really pleased with it, and certainly as with other developers we did have problems getting to grips with it at first, but now understanding how it works it allows us to do a lot of things we couldn't do before."

Where do you stand on Sixaxis controls? Personally, I don't like them at all. It didn't work for me on Warhawk, Lair, or any other game that used the motion controls for anything significant.
Kojima seems to have the right idea with using the Sixaxis to remove Snake's camo by shaking the controller. He'll probably have a few more surprises for the controller, but we'll have to wait and see.
