Ubisoft has over a billion dollars burring a hole in its pocket. The French game publisher might buy your house and make you pay rent, or maybe they'll hire Van Halen to play their birthday party.
Well, that's what we would do with that kind of money, anyway. Ubi, on the other hand, insists on using their $1.2 billion warchest to "acquire new studios and companies to further grow Ubisoft’s business and move into other markets." Boring!
Look for Ubisoft to snap up other game developers soon, and for merger mania to continue.
