'Guitar Hero: Metallica' Revealed

An Activision financial filing reveleade the existence of Guitar Hero: Metallica! The game is slated to be released before the end of fiscal year 2009, which means sometime between today and March 31, 2009.

No other details are available, but we can't help but wonder if GH: Metallica will be the first multi-instrumental expansion pack, after Guitar Hero World Tour. We suspect very strongly that this is the case.

It'll be interesting to see if all upcoming Metallica tracks will be exclusive to Guitar Hero or if Rock Band will still receive any (Rock Band currently has a Metallica pack avialable to download).

Perhaps it will include the "write your own song" feature from Guitar Hero IV and allow you to rewrite the last four studio albums.

Nothing against Aerosmith and Metallica but this is the start of a really bad trend. What's next Guitar hero: Pink Floyd, Guitar Hero: Led Zeppelin, Guitar hero: Devo? Another $60 disk for my machine for each band that I like. . . um . . . no.

Keep the original Guitar Hero, add patches to play drums and have new tracks be downloadable or purchased by an additional disk. Stop this exclusive band stuff. I realize that these are indeed cool bands but playing Metallica for more than 45 minutes can be very tiring!!!!!

Yes....I would agree, this isn't a good trend....I was pleased with GH3 - but very disapointed with the downloads (metallica downloads would have been nice). It is more effective regarding manufacturing costs and consumer costs to release the whole "Tour" package and have everything else downloadable content. Much less waste as well, Buy what you want when you want.....

It's about time. Again, Load and Reload are pretty good albums, but get no respect since they don't sound like 'puppets'. Most people here are too young to remember most of that stuff anyway.

Amen Brother. "Puppets" was easily they're best bust most people can't stand change so they immediatly bash the Load albums. Load and Reload were really great albums. On a side note I hope they have the two tracks from S&M on there. I love No Leaf Clover.

After the Black ALbum, they threw out Load, Reload, S & M and finally St. Anger.....it goes to show how much you know about Metallica.....I only mentioned their first Albums, because thats when they were at there peak.......Moron!

well since Metallica is like my favorite band im looking forward...also GH metallica is coming in 2009 not 2008...and if you include GH Metallica in the 2008 games Guitar Hero On Tour for the DS would be the 4 game...but im still looking forward to Guitar Hero Dragonforce!!!!!!!!!!

To all those ppl who think metallica sucks. Metallica is an awesome band and so what if lars is a douchbag. those of you who wanted to play gh why play if you didnt want them to come up with a new game. say there was a "new game"
what o what would you call it "guitar hero: 153"
i think that would be lame! so gh metallica is better than that id say so find somthing else to complain about!!
