Teen Hackers Caught, Await Charges

For a few hours yesterday, Comcast.net was redirected to a website claiming that hackers had "RoXed" Comcast, but they were caught. The DNS server was breached, but Comcast.net was not hacked.

"I wish I was a minor right now because this is going to be really bad," said 19-year-old "Defiant", one of the two hackers. He and the other hacker, 18 year-old "EBK", could face serious charges.

The best part of this story, however, is the quote Defiant gave to Wired.

"I slept in my clothes, because the last time they came, I was in my underwear with my dong hanging out and sh*t," Defiant said of a past raid.

Protip: Don't hack and then sleep in unsecure underwear.

I thought hacking died in the 90s. Bunch of lame idiots sitting around in their basements trying to look cool to....other lame idiots? I can just picture this moron in his underwear laughing at how he RoXed Comcast. What a tool.

way to hack something that doesn't net you any profit. hacking for hacking's sake is pretty gay. hacking for a profit is totaly different.

What an idiot. 15 years ago, you could get away with that crap. Maybe even 10. But with security protocol being what it is, even if you pull off the "hax," you're going to get caught.

Also, in before they're charged with cyber-terrorism, since everyone who commits a crime is somehow guilty of terrorism these days.
