Rumor: PS3 Firmware 2.4 Includes In-Game XMB

The single most requested feature for the PlayStation 3 is the elusive "in-game XMB" that would allow gamers to access their friend list and more within games.

Rumor has it that this could be coming in firmware 2.4 along with trophy support, which is Sony's version of Achievements.

We don't believe it just yet as this rumor seems to pop up before every firmware release, but maybe this time will be different.
