Sony CEO Howard Stringer has admitted that "two years ago PlayStation was on life support." He is talking, of course, about the launch of the PS3, but now things are all good in the hood.
Now he's "very pleased" with the PS3 and glad that Blu-Ray won the high-def movie format war.
He even goes on record to refute claims that Sony paid movie studios to adopt Blu-Ray, saying that Sony isn't "in the check-writing competition."
It's good to see that Sony knows the launch of the PS3 wasn't the best, but things are looking up for the console.
