'Far Cry 2' to Get 16-Player Multiplayer

Ubisoft has revealed that Far Cry 2 will support 16-player online multiplayer, but not online co-op.

There will also be a Call of Duty 4-style perk system with persistent rewards.

The open-world FPS is just about "feature-complete" and should be on track for a December 2008 release for the Xbox 360, PC, and PlayStation 3.
