Future's Future Looks Good

Future, the publisher of the official Xbox 360, PS, and Nintendo magazines has reported enjoying a recent double digit increase in circulation for those titles while slipping 1% in overall circulation.

There has been a recent shakedown and restructure at Future, who publishes many other titles including TheFeed favorite, Simply Knitting. They've contracted their business by shutting down 50 magazines and selling off international holdings.

It's a tough time for magazines as the whole world swings to online media (btw, it will swing back) but this contracted Brit publisher who carries 16 of the world's top gaming magazines says they're feeling pretty good about where they are. Stevie Spring, Chief Executive for Future said, "What is clear to me is that Future is proving its resilience in these tough times and I believe we are well-placed."
