Want proof that the video game industry is becoming more like the film industry every day? Look no further than Hideo Kojima and his Metal Gear Solid series. Not only are the games incredibly cinematic in their presentation and plot, but Kojima is following the lead of Hollywood film makers by discussing his next sequel before the 4th installment is even out yet. In an interview with Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu, Kojima said "I gotta start thinking about MGS5... Even though, well, Snake's story ends in MGS4. ...About MGS5, that would be something that Kojima Productions would have to make, I think."
So while this may be Snake's last mission, you haven't heard the last from Hideo Kojima or those nasty Metal Gears. Something tells me MGS6 will be scheduled soon after, and will contain 5 hour long cutscenes. And strange plot twists. And a talking monkey.
