It's easy for nerds, geeks and neck-beards to get caught up in Summer movies then commit fashion atrocities in attempts to imitate their favorite characters. While it's acceptable (and adorable!) for kids and to dress as fictional characters, once you hit puberty, you gotta knock it off: Batman looks cool in a cowl; you don't.
Wired took on this important issue, kicking off their list of summer movie fashion-mistakes with this sober warning about Indiana Jones' fedora:
"WARNING: Indiana Jones is a fictional character. His movies are all set decades ago. He is more physically attractive than 98 percent of humanity. These are all reasons you should not attempt to dress like him."
