Pull up a chair and sit down for April's NPD software sales numbers. Grand Theft Auto IV, of course, took the top spot with the 360 version, but there were a few surprises.

First, Mario Kart Wii outsold the PS3 version of GTA IV taking #2.

Second, apart from GTA IV, Nintendo absolutely dominated Sony and Microsoft on the software side of things.
