'God of War III' Pre-Orders at Amazon/Gamestop

We know God of War III is coming at some point down the line. It will be a PS3 exclusive and it will sell a bajillion copies, but when?

Our first hint comes from the newly available pre-orders at Amazon.com and Gamestop.com, which both list the release date as March 2, 2009.

This date is unofficial, however, and will most likely be wrong.
