Remember all those photoshops of a Playstaion branded cell phone, or the iPhone/PSP mash-ups? Well keep dreaming kid, it'll never happen.

For now, you'll have to settle for this new Sony headset designed specifically for use of Skype on your PSP. It's everything you'd expect it to be with soft earbuds, adjustable microphone, and a thirty dollar price tag. Not exactly cheap, but we're talking about something that will allow you to make free phone calls with the internet from your handheld gaming device. Now go be a good Sony fanboy and buy one, right after you scream about how we get paid by Microsoft to tell you not to buy this.

thats cool and all,but do we really need skype on psp its not like u can call landlines or cellphones for free its only free to other psp's and pc's and if ur on the go u still need a wifi connection and out in the city there are not that many free hotspots anymore such as starbucks were u have to buy time now i think i'll stick with my cellphone but to anyone else who wants this feature on their psp the headset is a great addition.

AAAWWWHHHH... someone put there hand in Pat's koolaid this afternoon....

Skype is uber popular across the sea so I think this is a good thing... and to call land lines unlimited on skype it's like $3 a month... not that big of a deal.

I heard somewhere that it isn't compatible with the gen 1 PSP's. Can anybody confirm this?

Yes it will NOT work with the PSP fat.
