Daily Show comic Demetri Martin will star in Ang Lee's Talking Woodstock, about a closeted gay man working in his parents' hotel in the Catskills in 1969, who accidentally starts the Woodstock Festival in motion. Martin is not only a Daily Show fixture, but has also appeared on Flight of the Conchords, and is a fixture on the alternative comedy scene.
Now, normally, we'd give Ang Lee a wide berth. After all, the man is an Oscar-winning director. However, this sounds like a really strange idea for a movie, and we don't know if Martin can carry a project on his own. Still, it's interesting enough to be worth a look.
