The eagle eye'd slueths over at Kotaku noticed that Activision and Vivendi were left off the E3 roster sent around by the ESA (Entertainment Software Association - the fine folks that put on E3 each year)... and after some honest-to-goodness journalistic inquiring by Kotaku, the ESA confirmed that neither top-tier publisher will be attending.
Also of note, Activition and Vivendi are no longer members of the association. We're not going to read too much into all of this yet, but you can feel free to in the comments section below.
