In a shining bit of good news that will light your way for the rest of today, Terminal Reality, developers of the upcoming Ghostbusters: The Videogame, confirmed that the new game will feature the original Ray Parker Jr. theme song - plus 75 minutes of previously unheard soundtrack music. No dumb modern remix.
"When we were doing the focus group testing, we asked people how they'd feel about a remix done by a current band. We got booed out of the place," Brendo Goss, the game's executive producer, said.
"So yes, we have the original, and no, we're not messing with it," Goss said.
Who you gonna call? The original Ray Parker Jr is who I'm going to call.
No release date on the game yet, but it looks like it's coming out on the DS, PS3, PS2, Wii and 360.
