British-based game studio Codemasters has acquire Sega Racing Studios, as well as the 40 employees that come with it. This is sort of a resurrection for Sega Racing Studios, as they were thought dead after their only release, Sega Rally, was considered a critical and commercial failure.

We're not sure why, beyond the goodness of their collective heart, Codemasters would want to acquire SRS, but it might yield...um...some racing games in the future? I guess we'll have to see about that.
