A new channel is coming to your Wii, everyone: Nintendo of America will launch a channel that allows downloadable DS games and Nintendo news when WiiWare debuts next month.
Users will be able to review games from WiiWare, read other people's reviews and (we think) check out videos. According to wired:
In Japan, where the channel was released last November, it offers streaming web video with content such as interviews with Wii game designers. In one video feature, Nintendo legend Shigeru Miyamoto describes the company's upcoming exercise game, Wii Fit.
It's free, too.

All this competitive innovation online madness makes me REALLY look forward to the NEXT generation of consoles which should (in theory) start off with improved versions of all the best stuff that this gen comes up with.
We are ever nearer to all-purpose super consoles.
Will Be Able To Watch Game Trailers
ALSO, Will Be Game "patches" For DS Games!
I love my Wii, I mean it's awesome. The fact that I can watch shows, movies, anime and surf the internet with it on my 40'inch plasma tv is the best. And now have arcade games! WHATS NEXT!
Can you do that with a PS3?
Mmmmm, I didn't think so.
I assume you'd use the Wii remote as the stylus for a simulated touchscreen.
Have fun flailing your arms like an idiot, hope your curtains are closed or else your neighbors will all pitch in and buy you nice shiny WiiTard helmet!
sounds good!
