Nintendo Fan Network, which gives baseball fans stats, mini-games, and information on the game while it's happening, will be given away free to Seattle Mariners fans with Nintendo DS units at home games all season long. There will be two kiosks at Safeco Field which will allow fans to download the service, gratis, for the 2008 season.
This is fantastic, and we fervently hope that Nintendo will make this technology available for a lot of teams in a lot of cities in the future. What an excellent way to round out the sports experience...and it's free!
