At this week's New York Comic-Con, Tokyopop announced they have signed a three-year deal with Blizzard for hte publishing rights to twenty two more manga books based in the Warcraft and Starcraft universes. This isn't a total surprise, considering Tokypop already published The Sunwell Trilogy manga series that was based in Azeroth, and was fairly well recieved.

The first two books are set to drop in August, titled Starcraft: Frontline and Warcraft: Legends. Both books will be partially-penned by Richard A. Knaak, who wrote the previous Warcraft Sunwell Trilogy as well as some Dragonlance novels. Oh, and as an added bonus, one fo the first Starcraft stories called "Thundergod" will focus on the new Thor heavy compbat walker unit that will be appearing in Starcraft II. Nerdtastic.
