Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures, the new barbarian-themed MMO from Funcom and Eidos, is set to release in just a few weeks on May 20th. However those of you who pre-order the game for a minimun deposit price of five dollars will get to access the servers early. On May 17th, three days before the actual street date, anyone with a pre-ordered account will be able to sign on and enter the world of Hyboria before the general public.
"As we prepare the roll-out, we know our servers will be put to the test," said Funcom's Morten Larssen. "We therefore hope potential players will aid us by signalling their interest as soon as possible so we can scale our servers and services accordingly." A good idea considering Funcom is still working on the Xbox360 verison of the game to be released in a year's time. So for now this good news only applies to you PC people. So go drop a fiver so you can get to the slaughter a few days early.
