The new Alone in the Dark game is looking pretty sweet with its unique inventory screen and love of sticky tape. Infogrames, the publisher, believes that the game will sell 2-3 million copies across all platforms in the first year of its release.
This is certainly possible, as it is releasing on the PC, PS3, PS2, Xbox 360, and Wii. Not really a tough thing to do with an established franchise. Funny, though, is the way Infogrames Chief Executive David Gardner put it:
"We want to stop losing money...This management's team number one goal is to get a business plan together that gets us to a break-even level."
Yes, David. All companies want to stop losing money, break even, and then make a profit. Thanks for your gem of wisdom.
