Usually we post about games that we think are going to be awesome (or at least passable), but sometimes, some releases are so utterly WTF? that we have to tell you about them. Today's WTF: Red Bull BC One, a puzzle game sponsored by the energy drink maker and coming to the Nintendo DS.

Here's the description:

Players control their break dancer by solving puzzles under strict time limits. Puzzles consist of drawing geometrical shapes, which will get more complex as the game progresses. A steady hand and speed are required to set a high score that is worth bragging about. The game features fresh and stylish graphics with urban music as well as tense puzzle rounds alternating with a variety of minigames. Red Bull BC One is currently being developed for Nintendo DS by Smackdown.

Why is Red Bull sponsoring a videogame? Why do you play as a breakdancer if the point of the game is solving puzzles, not pop-locking? What, exactly, is "urban" music? To whom would we brag about a high score in Red Bull BC One? Will we have to pay for a game that's one big ad? All these questions and more will not be answered when the game comes out "Worldwide" in early summer 08.

Here's a gallery we inexplicably prepared for you.
