Well, well, well Wal-Mart, it seems your reign of terror may finally be over.
According to an NPD MusicWatch Survey for January contained in an internal Apple e-mail which was leaked to Ars Technica but has not been officially published, Apple just surpassed Wal-Mart to become the #1 music retailer, baby.
So suck on that, Wal-Mart!
The fact that a digital-only retailer has risen to the top of the sales charts demonstrates just how much the music landscape has changed since the beginning turn of the century.
