Pull up a chair and have a seat. This year's April 1 festivities are some of the best in recent memory, especially around the gaming world, where many companies and media outlets jumped into the act with some truly hilarious and sometimes amazing results.

The European car media is probably not too happy after Kia "announced" the Kia Kee Wii, a new car that does away with pedals and steering wheels and instead uses the Wiimote for steering. When fans asked for more third party support, I dno't think this is what they meant.
The big winner at this early stage is the apparent collaboration between game design paragon Hideo Kojima and publisher Ubisoft, who loaned the likeness of one Middle Ages assassin to a new video of a high-profile PS3 game slated to release this summer. It also doesn't hurt that we get some brand new gameplay footage.
LEGEND OF ZELDA: THE MOVIE
On the silver screen front, it appears that young boys with pointy ears and green skirts are the new Hollywood rage. Take a look at Link's latest Hyrulian adventure. We're just kind of miffed that the hero is seemingly played by Brad Dourif.
WORLD OF WARCRAFT FOR CONSOLES
Blizzard, makers of that Warcraft MMO you may have heard of, conveniently have a lot of new developments today, not he least of which is a brand new character class for WoW: the Bard *insert rad guitar shredding here* While you're throwing up the horns, keep with the motif and check out the brand new class in StarCraft II: the Tauren Marine. Oh yeah, and World of Warcraft is also coming to consoles.
WIRELESS 360 HELMET
Some new Microsoft Xbox 360 gear was spotted this morning over at the official site. Get ready to get your hands on a wireless 360 helmet, Xbox Live the Board Game, and a re-release of the original Xbox complete with oak, pine, or maple wood finish. Retro gaming rejoice!
DOUBLE BASS HERO
If there's one segment of the music community that Harmonix has ignored thus far, it's the classically trained classical double bassist. Who needs star power when you're playing with a full 100 piece orchestra in the comfort of your own living room?
GUITAR HERO: FALLOUT BOY
Speaking of music, ever felt the track lists in Rock Band and Guitar Hero were just too rockin'? Was the edge making your deep inner soul, the black pit of despair you keep locked away beneath your diminutive exterior, break into shards of fragments? Fear not! Activision will (not) be releasing a new iteration of their band-themed Guitar Hero series: Guitar Hero Fallout Boy.
DESTRUCTOID TURNS TABLOID
Destructoid may be the first casualty of the gaming press to turn to yellow journalism (Ryu Hayabusa and Joe Musashi not real ninjas? Who knew!)
THE CAKE ISN'T A LIE
Kotaku? More like Kaketaku. Everything you need to know about the world of rotund baked goods. Delicious.
