There will soon be original video on your Xbox. Microsoft and Hollywood type Peter Safran have reached an agreement for Safran to provide original short content for distribution over the 360 console.
Safran said his first round of programs would be scripted and probably under 10 minutes each. He plans to focus on genres, like comedy and horror, that appeal to the Xbox 360 audience.
"We want to make sure that we have the right distribution channels in place," said Safran to the Hollywood Reporter. "We had a very specific idea that we knew worked for a core audience. Xbox clearly has this exact same demographic."
The first shows are expected out this summer.
