'Rock Band' DLC Announcement Delayed

This week's Rock Band DLC announcement will be delayed until Monday.

We're sorry.

In lieu of an announcement, we'll present a wishlist:

The Van Halen Pack
The AC-DC Pack
The Elvis Costello Pack

We hope, sincerely, that the delay is because they're putting out a free version of "Still Alive," the Portal close credit song. That would be a triumph.

Or, it could be the first official full album release.

Or it could be nothing. On Monday morning, all will be revealed.

NOOOOOOO Van Halen or Elvis. That would be a week of poor DLC. I could hang with AC-DC. What is all the buzz about the Still Alive song? It's a kinda stupid song. Come out with a real band song as a free download.

After the release of the Boston tracks this week I could hold out until Monday for the new DLC. I have a feeling it might be lame though since they just came out with Boston this week. It better be worth the wait.

on the updated store it says albums are coming soon. im guessing its albums this week. if it is Back in Black, i will be pleased. if not, i will be angry

"imagine" an Alice in Chains "dirt" FULL album download...I know the harmonies vocally would be tricky...but sheesh..."would", "them bones", down in a hole", rooster", "angry chair",....amond the rest of that fantastic album...just an idea.

If you ask me, I think they should make some more stuff from the 90's myself. The Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana, and some Pearl Jam. That would be an epic pack.
