By now you've no doubt obsessively watched the newest Grand Theft Auto 4 video a dozen times or more. Us too. We spent most of the morning huddled around our monitors obsessively fast forwarding and freeze-framing. We all agree it's amazing, better than the last trailers by a long-long shot. Little gameplay footage, but still... very, very Grand Theft Auto.
Here are some of the interesting nuggets we pulled out for ya:
We've heard about cover-firing in the game. Here's how it will look (also, note the blood-spattered, damaged car...nice details!)
The magic club seems to feature an act where someone is sawed in half with a circular saw. Maybe a mini-game?
Here's Niko out on a date, in a limo. Note that they're driving by Liberty City's equivalent of the Ed Sullivan theater where David Letterman does his show.
Okay, a chopper dogfight is cool, but note the CNT sign and the "show" called "I'm Rich" and the sign for "Logger" beer in the background.

What would GTA be without carjacking. Note that Niko is pointing his gun into a car, with the driver holding up his/her hands... is this a look at how jackin' will be done in GTA 4?
We think this looks more like a medical helicopter than a police helicopter... hmmmm.

What about this looks like a medical helicopter?? It's looks like a civilian version of the military blackhawk... PLUS it has at least 2 miniguns and probably 4 if it is symmetrically loaded. Not to mention the seal on the aircraft that resembles the actual NYPD's seal.
