CNET Lays Off 120 Employees

CNET Networks just axed about 120 jobs as part of a restructuring. The move will end up costing CNET $3.5 - 4 million in pre-tax charges.

This could be the first step in CNET being acquired by another party and we'll keep you updated.

CNET owns Gamespot, which recently came under criticism around the release of Kane & Lynch and Jeff Gerstmann's forced departure from Gamespot.
