We knew Killzone 2 was coming in 2008, but Eurogamer narrowed that down to September after noticing the date on Sony's press site.

Good point. But I have to say, Resistance didn't come close to being what Gears is. Let's see the second round. I am liking what I see about Resistance 2. Gears 2 is a no brainer. We already know it's going to be awesome.

Also don't forget that Resistance's sales benefited from the controversy with the church . That should count as advertisement as well because sony paid them a hefty sum if I remember correctly :)

Now MS has great games coming out this year too but Sony has more and alot more in development still

The 1000 games they claim are mostly shovelware
Both consols have there strengths but to always bash the PS3 cause the 360 was rushed to market is plain stupid. Sony has delivered more games in the first 16 months and more head way.
You are totally missing the point what did MS do in the first 16 months?
But now since Resistance came out Killzone will have a better chance at getting recognized for the good game that it is.

Do you see why I don't trust sony fans? I could easily name at least 3 games that counter any of the ones you mention, but it's not worth the time. The ps3 is a great system. I, a traditional sony hater, admit it. But when it comes to games it's way behind the 360. Maybe it'll close the gap at some point. You shouldn't have to resource to bashing to 360 to justify your purchase either. I honestly think you might have made a good choice.
