So we just finished watching some FOX News and hit the web looking for stories when we found out that Mass Effect is getting a sequel and it could come out soon. We had no idea!
Mass Effect, of course, is our favorite game because it allows us to engage in graphic virtual lesbian sex for 30 full minutes and even earn an Achievement for it. Hot!
Alright, enough jokes. Just had to get that out of the way. It was also an excuse to reuse that image.
Gamespot has an interesting interview with Matt Atwood, BioWare's senior manager, about Mass Effect's lesbian sex and some other details about the forthcoming games, but the most interesting piece of information was the possible timeline for when we could see ME2.
Matt was asked when we could be seeing the sequel and he replied, "Well, the first one took three and a half years, but because we've got a lot of the tools and a base level now, it's not going to take that long. I'd say soon, but not real soon."
So there you have it. It'll be "soon, but not real soon." We're gonna guess an announcement for April 2009, but it'll slip to Holiday 2009.
If we're right, you owe us a cake.
