Listen, Star Wars fans get kind of a bad rap, and have since 1976, even though everyone on Earth has seen the movies and is at least a little bit of a fan. To whit: The new film Fanboys, once a touching story about some friends of a kid with cancer who invade Skywalker Ranch, has had the cancer excised from it so that it can be more about making fun of Star Wars fans.
So, naturally, the fans are protesting 'Darth Weinstein' and his practices. They're planning a lifetime boycott of Weinstein movies, and have told him of their plans. Now, we're not sure that Harvey Weinstein will care one way or the other, but it's a potential blow...actually, it's not. We're all for the original version of the movie, but we don't really think there are enough die-hard Star Wars fans out there that will actually boycott his films. Do you?
