'Guitar Hero 3' Record Shattered

Last night, the Guiness Book officiallized the World's Record for Guitar Hero 3. Chris Chike (aka imchris4life) scored 840,647 points on "Through The Fire and Flames" from DragonForce. That's 97% on "expert".

“I think I can keep going up," Chike said. "I haven’t maxxed the song, so I can keep practicing and keep going up.”

Chris reports his fingers are feeling fine after the record breaking feat.

Joining Chris in the book: G4's own Attack of the Show, current record holder for largest arcade machine.

On Scorehero, he actually has a score of 879,000, but that's not Guiness World Record "official", even though he has the pic of the final scoreboard.

I am just glad that I have a life and can't even get through that song on hard. I've been too busy with Rock Band anyway.

That song is more difficult in GH than rreal guitar. My band and I include that song in our sets sometimes....as long as we all have enough energy

Wait, one guy gets a 97%, not even a perfect 100%, yet the game needs to be harder? Is the next Guitar Hero going to require playing Michael Angelo's 4-neck guitar?
