Call of Duty... the MMO?! In a conference yesterday, Activision's CEO dropped some hints about a possible future of the Call of Duty franchise.
While this certainly doesn't qualify as an announcement, it's certainly a possibility, especially now that Blizzard is in the mix.
Would you play a CoD MMO? We would, but only if it maintained the gameplay of CoD4. We don't want to select a target and have the game fire automatically.
MMOFPS games have historically failed or have been met with limited success. We point to World War II Online and Planetside as evidence.
