2K Sports Partners with Pitchfork Media for MLB 2K8

2K Sports, the sports publishing label of Take-Two Interactive, announced a partnership today with renowned and influential music outlet Pitchfork Media in support of Major League Baseball 2K8.

Apparently the Pitchfork people are huge fans of baseball and videogames, so this was a natural partnership. What this means for gamers is that the music selected for MLB 2K8 will be coming from a place that hopefully puts quality over name recognition, as Pitchfork is plugged into the indie scene. Doesn't seem like a lot of songs for one game but we must admit that the selection has a few aces in it. MLB 2K8 comes out tomorrow and is available on almost every system.
