Lewis Bennett, A teenager in Plymouth Township, Pennsylvania, was called a hero by President Bush after he reported on a fellow student who was apparently planning a Columbine-style assault on the local school.
He later broke into the would-be assassin's house and stole an Xbox, an iPod and some air guns.
Bennett’s attorney suggested that the intense media attention on the teen, after President Bush hailed him as a hero, may have influenced his behavior.
