PlayStation Home is gearing up, and there's word of new portals that will enhance the PS3 experience for at least three of the games on the system, Resistance: Fall of Man, Warhawk, and Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. Each will have bonus content that helps to round out the games. In the case of Resistance, it's bonus levels and looks behind-the-scenes, while Uncharted will feature a 2D side-scrolling mini-game in the style of Contra.
Finally, Warhawk will allow players to work their strategies for gameplay with a war room that allows you to place tiny tanks, planes, and men on a map before taking the practical route to playing the game. It's a nice innovation, to be sure, and improves gameplay by a good measure.
We'd heard for a while that Home was going to be different and interesting, and, though it's taken a while to get here, the early word on the street is pretty darn positive. Keep it up, Sony!
