TheFeed, collectively, sucks at videogame soccer. It's a game played mainly by Hungarians, and you can't touch the ball with anything but your hands, so we don't care. But perhaps you feel differently. Perhaps you think you are the very best FIFA player in North America.
Prove it, then, Mr. I-talk-all-big-about soccer. Enter the FIFA Interactive World Cup 2008. The thing hits Los Angeles on Saturday, March 1. The FIWC will showcase 128 of the best interactive soccer players in North America competing for one of 32 berths in the FIWC Grand Final on May 24 in Berlin.
The only FIWC 08 Qualifier Event in North America will take place on Saturday, March 1 from 2:00-8:00 pm at GameStop, 1000 Universal Studios Blvd., Universal City, CA. Up to 50 competitors can pre-register for the event at the official site while the remaining 78 spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis on the day of the event.
What's the matter, Mr. Soccer? You a'scaired??
