Competitive StarCraft is an odd duck. It's huge in Korea, where it is a national sport, and the top players enjoy a life of celebrity, wealth, and clicking.
Previously, the tournaments would be totally in Korean and it left us confused as to what was happening. However, GomTV is taking a big chance and has hired an English-speaking player, Tasteless, to do live commentary.
If you feel like staying up late, you can watch the games live, but the completed games are available to stream for free on their website: Star Invitational
Check it out and check out our impressions of StarCraft II from BlizzCon 2007.
