Satin Silver PS3 Luxuriates In Japan

The Japanese get all the cool stuff. Oneechanbara, the Rez trance vibrator, and now a sexy silver-colored PS3 system.

In addition to being all sparkly, the system will come with one of those brand new rumblin' DualShock 3 controllers when the package goes on sale March 6. Based on the silver plastic used for the PSP, we're hoping for an eventual U.S. release, though none has been announced.

bugman26, who cares about the color you ask? lots of people. just look at the game boy and the nintendo DS. sales always spike when new colors are released. when the gameboy was released in multiple colors, everyone already had one, but they bought a new one anyway cause it had a nifty new color.

Well, it's better than that finger print trap PS3. 40 gig.. You can only hope that Sony just stops tinkering with the system and start working on getting games out for it... Get the development kits updated and start focusing on helping third party developers on making good games for the system.. Sony,Please leave the system alone, it does not need any more changes to the hard drives, color or with backwards compatibility.. Stop it and work on getting HOME done and games on a timely manner. Focus on that.

Telling Sony to pump out the software is retarded, why the f k do we have development studios for, tell them to get off their asses,
and pump out more then inferior ports, and be happy technology in gaming is advancing.

I'm not a fan of the silver used on the PSP... looked cheap... maybe it will look better on the PS3... I want the red PSP... my wife wants the Pink PSP... why can't we get those colors.... I still think the black PS3 looks the best... with the chrome.

Man just got my 2nd PS3(gave my other one to my brother) upgraded it to 300gigs and got the DS3, and 12 games, plus an HDMI cable...

PS: UNCHARTED IS AWSOME

but still COD4:MW is da game.

I hope this model releases in the USA soon. I'm a Wii60 fan looking to not really cross over to the "dark side", but to add the PS3 to my evil plans in unison :D

Might sell my black 60Gig PS3 when this one comes out, The silver model always caught my eye. Although big I think the PS3 is the nicest, sleekist, looking system.
