An golden era in American television will come to an end at the end of the season, when The Montel Williams Show will cease production after 17 long years on the air. And just when we'd started to believe that Montel would be with us forever, too. Just goes to show, we guess, that you can't count on anything or anyone sticking around in your life, especially when you need them the most.
We're sorry. It's a touchy subject around here. It's just that Montel himself promised us he wasn't going anywhere, but here he is, packing up and leaving us with all of the problems that he was always there to help solve. How do you replace a presence like his? It's pointless to try.
