By now, most gamers have become familiar with Zero Punctuation, the piquant musings of Oz-based developer, Ben “Yahtzee” Croshaw, concerning the biggest videogame titles currently embedded in the gaming public’s collective consciousness. We here at G4TV eagerly fire up and gather around our steam-powered internets machine every Wednesday so as to be sure not to miss the latest entry in the delightful series when it premieres at The Escapist. We call it Ze-Pu for short, because we work in Hollywood.
Our fellow bloggers at Boing Boing share our appreciation for Yahtzee’s take-no-prisoners style, having engaged the English ex-pat in an informative interview about the process behind creating his (in)famous reviews.
It’s a good read and a peek into the creative process but, if you’re like us and you prefer the sources of your disembodied voices to remain unseen, be warned: There’s a front-and-center glamour shot of Mr. Croshaw that may serve to ruin your illusions. Of course, if you’re down with figurative ordinary guys with hot air balloons, or in this case, awesome hats, click away.
