The artsy (but not overly fartsy) storefront was designed by clever designer Stephan Bucher, and serves as the entrance to impossibly hipster-riffic non-profit literacy project 826LA, where students can get tutoring, make 'zines and learn about publishing.
We don't know if it's possible in 2008 to make reading and/or writing cool, but it's fun (and encouraging) to watch people try, eh?
