Hoping to capture the enormous cell-subscriber market in China (350 million!) Apple has been in talks with China Mobile, their largest provider, to bring the iPhone to the nation.

China Mobile, however, has walked away from these talks. No word on why, but we can assume that it has something to do with the revenue sharing agreements that Apple has been making with other providers that skew heavily toward Apple.

Sorry, China. You'll have to stick to your knock-offs for now.
